What are sculpturns®?

Created exclusively by ShadowCasts, sculpturns® are meticulously crafted, trademarked enclosable breed specific sculptures of the highest quality, which quite literally have the ability to serve as a statue and an urn.
The following formula says it all: Sculpture + Urn = Sculpturn®

How do I know if a sculpturn® will accommodate my pet’s ashes?

Unless your pet is extremely large for its breed, ShadowCasts sculpturns® are designed to generously accommodate its ashes and possibly a keepsake (pedigree, license, collar, favorite toy, etc.) or two. In general, each pound of a pet’s weight will convert to approximately one cubic inch of ash. The maximum weight accommodated is listed in each sculpturn’s® specifications.

What if I’ve already put my pet’s ashes in another receptacle?

ShadowCasts sculpturns® are so easy to use, that one can easily transfer a pet’s ashes from a less desirable receptacle to a ShadowCasts sculpturn®.

How do I inter my pet's ashes?

Typically, to prevent any possibility of escape, your pet’s ashes will be securely contained in a flexible plastic receptacle/bag when received from your crematorium. To be certain of this, contact your crematorium or veterinarian to verify before opening any kind of sealed box or vessel. Once assured, gently remove the ashes by placing the receptacle/bag into our interment pouch and/or sculpturn® and attach the provided base.

Are sculpturns® easy to use?

Absolutely! ShadowCasts’ sculpturns® are designed for functionality and ease of use. Simply place your pet’s cremains into your sculpturn® and fasten the base with the screws provided. Accessorize if desired. Easy to follow instructions are included with each sculpturn®.

What if I don’t see my favorite pet breed?

ShadowCasts is constantly developing additional breeds and your favorite could be the next one “born.” If you don’t see your favorite, please email request@shadowcasts.com and let us know– you could make the difference in our next choice.

Where would I display my sculpturn®?

ShadowCasts sculpturns® display extremely well on most level indoor surfaces such as steps, floors, furniture, mantles, and hearths, but please place away from intense heat–remember, the only thing we want to melt is your heart!

Can I put my sculpturn® outdoors?

We do not recommend using our LifeCast sculpturns® outdoors as direct exposure to harsh outdoor elements could cause damage to your sculpturn's® finish. Our Custom MetalCast and MetalClad finished may oxidize if placed outdoors, adding character to your sculpturn, however, if you prefer your sculpturn's finish to remain in the condition in which you received it, we suggest you lovingly display it indoors only!

ORDERING AND SHIPPING

Is it safe to use my credit card on the ShadowCasts Web Site?

Absolutely! ShadowCasts' Web Site is a secured site and all information submitted is confidential.

When will my credit card be charged?

Our online ordering is in real time and your credit card will be charged at the time your order is placed.

How do I know when my order ships?

You will receive an email verification of when your order ships with a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your shipment.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Under normal circumstances, it should take four to five business days from the time of purchase to receive your order. In many cases it may be sooner.

How long will it take to receive a product if it is back ordered?

Since we manufacture here in the USA, back ordered products should typically take less than a month to be restocked and shipped. At the time of your purchase you will be informed if an item is currently on back order, and you will be given options on how, or whether, to proceed.

How long does it take to receive a Custom MetalCast sculpturn®?

In most cases ShadowCasts’ Custom MetalCast sculpturns® should be received within two to four weeks of ordering, in some cases, even sooner. Each Custom MetalCast sculpturn® is “made to order” in the United States and then shipped to you.

RETURNS

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged you should contact us immediately for a “return shipping” label so you can return the damaged goods at no charge to you. Once we've received your return, we will immediately ship the replacement goods at our cost with our sincere apologies.

What should I do if I have a return?

If you have a return, for any reason, please contact us to arrange for return shipping authorization and instructions.

What if my order is incomplete?

Depending on your order it could ship from more than one of our U.S. locations. If this occurs, it is unlikely your complete order would arrive at exactly the same time. Unless shipped by the United States Postal Service, each shipping location will send you a notice of shipment with a tracking number so you can follow your order. If your entire order is not received within five business days from the first delivery, please contact us.

What if I don’t receive my order?

If you don't receive notice your order has shipped within three business days of placement, please contact us.

What if I change my mind and decide not to purchase all or part of my ShadowCasts order?

Simply return your order within the terms of our return policy and ShadowCasts will be happy to give you a full refund of the purchase price, minus any shipping or restocking charges if applicable.

What is your policy on returns and exchanges?

Excluding Custom MetalCast sculpturns® and printed nametags, ShadowCasts will gladly give a full refund or exchange, minus any applicable shipping charges, on any items returned in new condition within 30 days of receipt. If an exchange is required due to shipping damage or any error on our part, you will receive a like or correct product without any additional charges. Please see our return policy for additional details.

Why are MetalCast sculpturns® and printed nametags treated differently in your return policy?

Custom MetalCast sculpturns® and printed nametags are treated differently in our return policy because they are are not a stock item; they are all literally “custom orders” made especially for you. Our custom orders policy states that any custom orders that are returned will be charged a 50% restocking fee.

Where should I send my return?

ShadowCasts will give you the address for returns when you contact us for return authorization.
